FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We are accepting anyone who meets technical MTB skills prerequisite to this team and are between 7th and 12th grade. We use TeamSnap please email us with your name and email address so we can send you an invite to TeamSnap.

This is completely dependent on the athlete.  Our team’s focus is to teach vital mountain biking skills out on the trail while having a good time with fellow cyclists as well as learning good stewardship of our trails and community.  We have great opportunities for our athletes to become competitive and start building race experience, profile, and exposure.  Through our knowledgeable and talented coaches, from optional team participation in Lake Superior Gravity series and COGGs Wednesday Night Enduro Series, and through rider profiles on this website.

All coaches must be proficient riders in gravity and XC disciplines as well as having at least PMBIA level one training. Ride leaders are parents or individuals who wish to help out with the team but wish not to coach.  All ride leaders must be proficient enough to keep up with team pace and difficulty of trails.  All ride leaders must pass a background check.  Please Email us for more information on how you can become an Enduro DEVO rider leader. If you are interested in giving it a shot for a day we do have day waivers one may sign at coaches’ discretion.

We highly recommend having a full-suspension trail or a bigger bike.  Riders must use half shell helmet whenever on their bike and use full-face helmet when instructed.  We also require athletes to have knee pads, gloves, water bottle or camel pack, and glasses and flat kit at all times. We have loaner gear for eligible athletes please email us for more information.

We are apart of the Duluth MTB DEVO nonprofit organization.  Which has programs such as juniors programs, adventure program, and strength program.  We strive to be a positive influence on local youth through the cycling community.  We have over 250 athletes of all ages and backgrounds.

Due to COVID 19, we do not know the status of registration or cost for season 2020.
